What is the South Wight benefice?

The South Wight benefice is situated on the southern tip of the Isle of Wight and covers the following Church of England churches: St. John the Baptist in Niton St. Lawrence and St. Lawrence old Church St. Andrew’s in Chale Ss Radegund & Mary the Virgin in Whitwell We are part of the Diocese of Portsmouth and are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults and creating protective and supportive environments where all people, and especially those who may be vulnerable, are able to worship and pursue their faith journey in safety.
